A QUEBEC COMPANY
FOUNDED BY A PHARMACIST

METHODOLOGY

Our company is aware of the fact that healthcare professionals need a quick access to concise and reliable sources of information on drugs. We have built our reputation by demonstrating our determination and commitment to answering these needs. We are distinguished by our unequalled support of software designers and programmers for the integration of Rx Vigilance in various software. Over the years, we knew how to exceed our customers’ expectations, who relied on us by choosing us as partners for the enrichment of their product.

Each professional monograph is developed by Vigilance Santé pharmacists who use various renowned reference works (books and monographs, encyclopedias, scientific newspapers, theses and other publications signed by professionals in the field, monographs of the Canadian government, etc.). All monographs drafted by our pharmacists are double-checked in-house, and all references used are clearly identified in the document.

Rx Vigilance is constantly evolving
Our team of pharmacists is continually adding information to the Rx Vigilance database. Always on the lookout for the latest edition of standard reference books, they make it their mission to search through a wide range of journals, bulletins, advisories and communiqués on drugs and health.

Credible and established sources
In order to provide you, the user, with information that is relevant and useful, our team combs through vast amounts of scientific literature. The information is then carefully analysed, scrutinized and integrated into our various professional tools. Then, the information is cross-referenced and all entries are validated by a second health care professional. The entire process is extremely thorough.

Monthly bulletin
Since we are constantly adding new information and options to our tools, we publish a monthly bulletin that gives our users an overview of the changes that were made over the course of the month. We also publish a technical bulletin that is specifically intended for software developers who maintain an interface between Rx Vigilance and their clinical applications.

Strict quality control
During the updating process, any information that has been modified during the month is checked and validated a second time. Data is retrieved, processed and structured in anticipation of the various uses we will have for it. Before rolling out a new version, a hundred or so tests are performed to make sure that it is working properly.
