Reporting to the Technologies Director, the Web Application Developer will work with both the Content Team and the Technologies Team to design, develop, revise and enhance the company’s technological solutions and management tools. He or she will ensure programming quality by carrying out required tests, and produce technical documentation based on the needs of the department.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop, maintain and enhance applications, tools and dynamic Web modules.
  • Create models, prototypes and proof-of-concept (POC) exercises.
  • Write code and create reusable libraries.
  • Carry out unit, system and functional testing associated with software development.
  • Document user requirements and write functional specifications.
  • Adopt best practices regarding software user-friendliness.
  • Work with members of both the Technologies Team and the Pharmacy Team.
Requirements:
  • Diploma of Collegial Studies in computer science or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience
  • Any combination of education and experience will be considered
Desired skills:
  • Extensive knowledge of Web technologies (design, programming and development)
  • Solid experience creating modern UX/UI interfaces (HTML 5 – CSS3 – jQuery)
  • Excellent knowledge of PHP and/or JavaScript

Drug Compounding Consultant

Mandate:

We are currently seeking a consultant who will work with the Content Team to develop and update the compounded drugs contained in our flagship product, the RxVigilance software program. The person chosen will have the opportunity to help hundreds of pharmacists offer a customized drug compounding service to their patients, which represents a significant contribution to the community of health professionals.

Responsibilities:
  • Select references in the scientific literature that will ensure the compounded drugs are prepared safely.
  • Revise the master formulation record stored in RxVigilance.
  • Propose compounded drug additions based on changes in pharmacy practice.
  • Write new compounding formulas or modify existing ones.
  • For an active ingredient, identify which formula to favor (preferred formula).
  • Determine a formula’s compounding category based on current standards indicated on the data sheets or the NIOSH list.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, a professional doctorate in pharmacy (Doctor of Pharmacy or Pharm.D.), bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a combination of relevant experience
  • At least 1 year of experience as a pharmaceutical assistant/technician in a pharmacy specializing in compounding services
  • Excellent knowledge of current standards of practice (OPQ standard 2012.01, USP <795> standard, NAPRA standards) regarding drug compounding in pharmacies
  • Excellent fluency in written French and English
  • Good knowledge of the MS Office suite

Responsibilities:
  • Customer technical support (Web and Windows)
    • Provide frontline technical support (via the ticketing system, telephone or e-mail).
    • Help install new workstations on customers’ premises.
    • Maintain support documentation regarding the installation of our products.
    • Maintain good customer relations.
    • Manage, analyze and resolve moderately complex issues and questions.
    • Transfer complex issues outside of his/her area of expertise to the appropriate person or the next support level.
    • Know product parameters and specifications.
    • Take charge of incidents and issues until they have been resolved.

Reporting to the Director of Client Services, the Technical Writer will work with the Pharmacy Team to conduct research as well as write, revise and update content associated with Vigilance Santé’s products. The Technical Writer will also support the Marketing Team and the Professional Services Team in carrying out various projects.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze, study and understand our style, methodologies and target audience in order to develop relevant content that generates the desired effect.
  • Help create and improve content designed for patients.
  • Consult several reliable sources of information and prepare documentation designed for the general public.
  • In collaboration with the Pharmacy Team, prepare content for health professionals.
  • Synthesize scientific information in a clear and effective manner according to the target audience.
  • Adapt information based on whether it is for a Web page, a brochure, professional documentation, etc.
  • Work with the Marketing Team and the Professional Services Team to create, write and revise promotional tools.
  • Work with the Marketing and Communications Coordinator to help manage the company’s social media platforms.
  • Ensure the feminization process is applied in all communication.
  • Share his or her bilingual writing expertise with the company’s different teams.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in professional writing, translation, French language and professional revision, linguistics, communications, a health-related discipline or any other relevant discipline
  • Two to three years of writing experience
