Reporting to the Technologies Director, the Web Application Developer will work with both the Content Team and the Technologies Team to design, develop, revise and enhance the company’s technological solutions and management tools. He or she will ensure programming quality by carrying out required tests, and produce technical documentation based on the needs of the department.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop, maintain and enhance applications, tools and dynamic Web modules.
  • Create models, prototypes and proof-of-concept (POC) exercises.
  • Write code and create reusable libraries.
  • Carry out unit, system and functional testing associated with software development.
  • Document user requirements and write functional specifications.
  • Adopt best practices regarding software user-friendliness.
  • Work with members of both the Technologies Team and the Pharmacy Team.
Requirements:
  • Diploma of Collegial Studies in computer science or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience
  • Any combination of education and experience will be considered
Desired skills:
  • Extensive knowledge of Web technologies (design, programming and development)
  • Solid experience creating modern UX/UI interfaces (HTML 5 – CSS3 – jQuery)
  • Excellent knowledge of PHP and/or JavaScript
  • Very good knowledge of a Symfony MVC framework (Laravel, Flex, CakePhp, Silex)
  • Very good knowledge of the Vue.js framework
  • Good knowledge of Node.js
  • Good knowledge of MySQL and ORM (Doctrine)
  • Knowledge of the Git version-control software

Drug Compounding Consultant

Mandate:

We are currently seeking a consultant who will work with the Content Team to develop and update the compounded drugs contained in our flagship product, the RxVigilance software program. The person chosen will have the opportunity to help hundreds of pharmacists offer a customized drug compounding service to their patients, which represents a significant contribution to the community of health professionals.

Responsibilities:
  • Select references in the scientific literature that will ensure the compounded drugs are prepared safely.
  • Revise the master formulation record stored in RxVigilance.
  • Propose compounded drug additions based on changes in pharmacy practice.
  • Write new compounding formulas or modify existing ones.
  • For an active ingredient, identify which formula to favor (preferred formula).
  • Determine a formula’s compounding category based on current standards indicated on the data sheets or the NIOSH list.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, a professional doctorate in pharmacy (Doctor of Pharmacy or Pharm.D.), bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a combination of relevant experience
  • At least 1 year of experience as a pharmaceutical assistant/technician in a pharmacy specializing in compounding services
  • Excellent knowledge of current standards of practice (OPQ standard 2012.01, USP <795> standard, NAPRA standards) regarding drug compounding in pharmacies
  • Excellent fluency in written French and English
  • Good knowledge of the MS Office suite

Business Development Assistant

As a member of our team of 50 employees, you will enjoy stimulating challenges in a dynamic work environment and your flexible schedule will help you achieve a healthy work-life balance.

Reporting to the Director of Client Services, the Business Development Assistant will work closely with the Communications, Marketing and Business Development Teams to provide support for daily activities. In addition to welcoming visitors and taking calls, the Business Development Assistant will help the team plan meeting schedules and follow up on contracts.

Responsibilities:
  • Take phone calls and welcome visitors.
  • Create and update customer files in partnership with the Customer Service Coordinator.
  • Write service proposals.
  • Help the team with project advancement and follow-up.
  • Follow up on agreements with suppliers and partners as well as on contract renewals.
  • Help manage the schedules of the Co-presidents and the Director of Client Services.
  • Determine the priority of the e-mail messages received.
  • Plan and coordinate meetings.
  • Produce various documents (letters, presentation documents, monitoring tables, etc.).
  • Carry out document quality control measures (syntax, layout, etc.).
  • Participate in the logistics related to various events (team meetings, committees, conferences, training sessions, etc.).
  • Respond to information requests made by phone, e-mail or in person.
  • Provide general information and forward requests to the appropriate individuals.
  • Revise and coordinate the publication of memos and other forms of communication intended for the teams.
  • Manage stationery, internal mail and office supplies.
  • Manage newspaper and magazine subscriptions.
  • Carry out all related tasks.
Requirements:
  • A Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) or a Diploma of College Studies (DCS) in office automation or secretarial studies or a combination of relevant training and experience
  • Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience
  • Good knowledge of the MS Office Suite applications
  • Experience in contract management, an asset
