Your role
Reporting to the Product Director or Team Manager, the Quality Assurance Analyst will collaborate closely with the delivery team to analyze quality assurance requirements and ensure thorough testing of our solutions. The incumbent will be responsible for designing and executing manual tests while contributing to the development, maintenance, and execution of automated tests. They will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, compliance, and performance of products currently in production or under development across all our platforms (Windows, Web, Mobile, etc.).
More specifically, you will:
- Design, execute, and maintain various types of tests, including functional, system, regression, acceptance, exploratory, compatibility, usability, and ad hoc testing, based on product and project requirements.
- Develop, maintain, and execute test plans and related documentation.
- Perform manual testing and contribute to the development, maintenance, and execution of automated tests using Playwright.
- Identify automation opportunities and contribute to the continuous improvement of testing strategies and quality assurance processes.
- Maintain and update test environments.
- Analyze test results, document defects, follow up on issue resolution, and recommend improvements.
- Participate in functional and technical refinement activities, including requirements analysis, acceptance criteria definition, and User Story development.
- Actively participate in Agile meetings and collaborate with delivery team members to achieve sprint objectives, maintain proactive and transparent communication, adapt to changing business priorities, and contribute to the overall success of projects.
Profile sought
Essential requirements- College diploma (DEC) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Strong manual testing skills and a keen interest in test development and automation.
- Solid understanding of Windows environments and software installation, configuration, and uninstallation processes.
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Experience working in Linux environments.
- Experience with Jira and Confluence.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Experience with Playwright or other test automation tools.
- Knowledge of scripting or programming languages such as Python, Java, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, or other relevant languages.
- Knowledge of JSON.
