Reporting to the Vice President of Products, the Director of Product – Data is responsible for defining the vision, driving the development, and ensuring the performance of Vigilance Santé’s clinical databases. These databases support both our internal products and our external clients by providing reliable, up-to-date, and relevant data to the healthcare community.

Responsibilities:

• Define the strategic vision for clinical data and databases, in collaboration with Product Owners, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
• Develop and maintain a clear roadmap for the evolution of clinical databases.
• Ensure data management supports both internal product and external client needs.
• Assess the profitability and positioning of the Data Product and recommend necessary adjustments.

• Oversee the development, evolution, and maintenance of clinical databases and data management tools.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, security, and compliance with best practices and applicable regulations.
• Coordinate data updates from multiple sources.
• Collaborate with other product divisions to ensure seamless integration into digital products.
• Implement quality assurance and validation mechanisms for clinical data.

• Actively participate in the executive committee and contribute to the company’s strategic planning.
• Work closely with the Clinical Services and RxVigilance product divisions to ensure product consistency and complementarity.
• Support internal teams and external partners in leveraging and maximizing data value.
• Oversee documentation, processes, and data management standards to ensure long-term organizational knowledge.

• Lead, engage, and support a multidisciplinary team (analysts, pharmacists, technicians, and developers).
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
• Plan and monitor human and budgetary resources.
• Provide close coaching, regular feedback, and foster skill development.

Desired Profile:

• University degree in computer science, data science, pharmacy, or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in team management within data or health technology fields.
• Knowledge of the pharmaceutical sector and understanding of clinical and regulatory issues related to health data.
• Excellent ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Inspiring leadership, strategic thinking, and strong attention to quality.
• Proficiency in both French and English, spoken and written.
