Located in Repentigny, a suburb of Montreal, Vigilance Santé has been developing databases and drug analysis software for nearly 30 years to provide front-line healthcare professionals with tools. As part of our team of approximately 60 employees, you will participate in stimulating challenges in a dynamic work environment. Your flexible schedule will allow you to balance your professional activities with your personal life.

Reporting to the team manager, the pharmacist will collaborate with the different teams of the company to develop and maintain the pharmaceutical data of our different products. He or she participates in improving Vigilance Santé tools so that they are representative of the reality of practice and meet the needs of health professionals.

* Please note that this position is temporary for a minimum duration of 9 months.

Responsibilities:
  • Write and revise materials for health professionals and the general public (e.g., monographs, drug interactions, medication sheets).
  • Ensure the clinical content of our products is kept up to date.
  • Adhere to standards, internal norms, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance of clinical content.
  • Develop a work plan to facilitate the analysis, prioritization, and integration of clinical content.
  • Present research findings to team members to solicit their professional opinion.
  • Participate in decision making on controversial topics.
  • Participate in user testing during the development of certain programs and during the deployment of monthly versions of RxVigilance.
  • Respond to questions from health care professionals by providing well-founded answers to offer a quality service.
  • Propose ideas for improving procedures and work methods to increase the team's operational efficiency.
  • Be on the lookout for new trends in the health care field.
  • Propose the addition of relevant content according to the evolution of pharmacy practice.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or undergraduate doctorate in pharmacy (Pharm. D.).
  • Minimum of three years experience in community pharmacy or health care settings.
  • Active member of the Order of Pharmacists of Quebec.
  • Fluent in written and spoken French.
  • Proficiency in English.
