Reporting to the Director of Research & Development, the AI Developer collaborates with the delivery team to explore, prototype, and demonstrate AI use cases within our products and development operations. The incumbent also works closely with product development teams to share learnings and support them in integrating AI-powered features.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and integrate innovative AI solutions that meet market needs and optimize internal processes.
• Advise stakeholders on model selection and AI technology tools.
• Stay up to date on emerging trends and advances in artificial intelligence.
• Collaborate closely with delivery teams to guide them in implementing AI solutions.
• Document and share AI-related learnings across the organization.
• Contribute to developing AI expertise within product development teams.

Desired Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience (a combination of education and experience will be considered).
• Solid understanding of generative AI technologies.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs (OpenAI, Mistral, LLaMA, Claude, Gemini, etc.), agents, and/or frameworks such as LangChain, Haystack, or custom RAGs.
• Strong knowledge of Python libraries for ML/AI (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, Hugging Face Transformers).
• Advanced understanding of optimization, evaluation, and model deployment techniques.
• Ability to read and write pseudo-code to design or adapt algorithms.
• Knowledge of Web and Windows environments (Linux is an asset).
• Experience with Jira and Confluence (asset).
• Familiarity with Agile methodology (asset).
• Knowledge of the healthcare domain (asset).
• Excellent command of written and spoken French.
• Strong written English and functional spoken English.
